Rena Myers

     Rena Louise (Prater) Myers, 90, of Desloge, passed away June 5, 2021, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Crystal City. She was born Wednesday, June 25, 1930, in Bixby, to the late Robert and Rose (Tinker) Prater. Rena enjoyed listening to gospel music and cooking.

     Rena was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Winnie Prater, Mildred Ridlon, Harold “Buck” Prater, William “Bill” Prater, and Paul Prater.

     She is survived by her loving husband, Acel Myers of 72 years; her two sons, Robert Myers and Floyd Lee Myers; four grandchildren, Heather Toftum, Melissa Brady, Allison and Floyd Myers; five great- grandchildren, Bella Hampton, James Hampton, Ireland Brady, Maple and Olivine Brady; two nieces, Wilma Cofer, Wanda Rayfield and her two special fur babies Donnie and Foxie.

      A private family entombment will be at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, Bonne Terre. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
