Retha Jean Evans

         Retha Evans, 63, of Bonne Terre, passed away February 19, 2022, at her residence.  She was born September 23, 1958, in Jefferson County, to Dallam Ray and Grace Ann (Reddick) Pettus. Retha was a past matron of the Vincil Chapter #43 O.E.S. and Job’s Daughters. She  graduated from Roosevelt High School of St. Louis. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to family gatherings

         She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dan and Lela (Pratte) Pettus; Orel and Grace (Hawthorne) Reddick; son-in-law, Ricky White; her Aunt Ethel Reddick; nephew,  Shane Hardin; in-laws, Eldon (Pete) and June (Wilkinson) Evans; brother-in-law, Mark W. Evans.

          Retha is survived by her husband Michael Eldon Evans; children, Michael Eldon Evans, Jr. (Jennifer), Kristina Marie (Evans) White (boyfriend, Rob Clubb); nine grandchildren, Trevor Michael White, Jordan Victor White, Riley Eldon Evans, Noah Mason Evans, Jaxon Paul Evans, Destiney Bailey Zander Bailey, Dominic Kinstler, and Paige Kinstler; siblings, Beth Munoz, Dallam Pettus, Jr. (Angie), Brian Pettus (Tracey), Lisa White (Butch), Christopher Pettus (Nicki); brother-in-law, Daniel Evans (Tina) and many nieces, nephews and friends survive.

          Family is planning a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
