Robert “Bob” Byington, of Bonne Terre, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Parkland Heath Center at the age of 60. He was born Tuesday, May 9, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas. Bob was in construction as a drywaller and painter he was the proud owner of Creative Custom Interiors Byingtons LLC. He enjoyed the outdoors he loved music, playing the guitar and fishing. Bob was devoted to his grandchildren he never missed a ball game, concert or any event that they were involved in. He was active for many years in the Boy Scouts where he served as a Cub Scout Leader and Baseball coach. He will be deeply missed by many.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; Samuel and Mary (Dixon) Byington, Siblings Sylvia Thrush, Virginia Tharp, Samuel Byington and Ted Byington.
Bob is survived by his spouse; Cynthia (Adams) Byington, children; Brandon (Jolynn) Byington, Aaron (Kristy) Byington, Samantha (Ron) Kinney and Craig Darwin (Kristy) Sinclair, grandchildren; Asia, Nathan, Ashlynn, Riley and Gabriel; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. The visitation will resume Friday, October 8, 2021 at 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bonne Terre, Missouri.

I’m so sorry for your loss, we spent a lot of time together for awhile. He’d come over and watch movies with me often and I have nothing but great memories with him. Talked of his kids alot. Loved his family for sure!! Prayers to you all! Bob was special for sure!
