Mrs. Ronda J. 'Perryman' Gruhala passed away June 26, 2003, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, at the age of 51 years, 1 month & 8 days. Ronda was born in Bonne Terre on May 18, 1952. Ronda was: * a member of The Bonne Terre Church of Christ; * Secretary for SNAP; * a MAC Nursing Program Instructor. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Her HUSBAND: Greg Gruhala, Farmington; 1 DAUGHTER: Erica 'Mrs. Craig' Kennon, Columbia; 2 SONS: Patrick Gruhala, Steamboat Springs, CO; & Aaron (& Rebecca) Gruhala, Farmington; PARENTS: Ronald & Dorothy 'Mabery' Perryman, Farmington; 2 SISTERS: Carol 'Mrs. Chuck' Simpson, Ballwin; Janice 'Mrs. Jay' Beckett, Fenton; 2 BROTHERS: Richard (& Holly) Perryman, Wildwood; James (& Patti) Perryman, Desloge; 3 GRANDCHILDREN: Christian; Alex & Andrew. Mother-In-Law: Eula Gruhala, Farmington; Sisters-In-Law: Cheryl Gruhala, Farmington; Tonja (& Mark) Stephens, Farmington; Brothers-In-Law: Gary (& Karen) Gruhala, DeSoto; Michael (& ex-wife, Brenda) Gruhala, Desloge. Also, many Nieces & Nephews. Visitation Saturday, 5-9 p.m., resuming Sunday, 7 am & funeral Sunday, 4 pm, June 29, 2003, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Minister Dave Spillman officiating. Interment at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Bonne Terre. Memorials to: * St. Louis Children's Hospital.

  1. My heartfelt sympathy is extended to the family of Rhonda. A wonderful person who will be greatly missed. I was associated with Rhonda through the Washington County Hospital / Board of Trustees. My prayers will continue for the family.

  2. I graduated with Rhonda in 1970. So sorry to hear of her passing at such a young age. My prayers are with her family. God Bless

  3. Rick & Jim and the entire family, I was very sorry to hear about your sister Rhonda and just want to convey my condolences and sympathy for you all at this time. My mother passed away almost 10 years ago on the 24th of June, with a heart attack and, I can empathize with your loss. You know Rhonda is in a better place and at peace now

  6. I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Ronda when I was working as a sales person with a medical company. Her smile will be missed.

  7. I went to school with Rhonda and graduated with her in 1970 from North County. Sorry to hear of her passing. My prayers are with the family.

  10. I work at Washington county Memorial Hospital and all three of my children were patients of Ronda. My middle daughter Michelle and Ronda always laughed together in the office when we would go.Ihope the family knows that she will be deeply missed by so many people. God Bless you all

  11. Rhonda was a wonderful doctor to all of my children. She will be greatly missed. It will be hard to find another doctor that was so caring and willing to help in any way she could.

  13. I am so saddened to read of Rhonda's passing. I went to school, church and practically "lived" at the Perryman home while growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with the immediate and extended families.

  14. Greg, We've been gone from home for many year now, but we always have fond memories of our friends from our past. Terrie and I both are so sad to hear about Ronda. we both remember when Ronda and Terrie had babies at the same time. They shared the same rooms. Erika and our twin girls were born on the same day.

  23. I was saddened to learn of Rhonda's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the Gruhala family. "Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, faith looks up". (I did not have the opportunity to know Rhonda – am a co-worker with Patrick in Steamboat Springs, CO)

  24. I work with Patrick. His mother must have been a wonder ful person, because he turned out to be a very wonderful person himself. We here at IECA will be sending a memorial to The St, Louis Children's Hospital as requested in Rhonda's obituary. Take care of each other, as always.

  25. Erica, and family, I'm so very sorry, for your loss! Ronda took me out of a horrible situtation, and I never really thanked her for saving my life. But I will always thank god that Erica and her had the courage to stand up for me when no one else did.
