Rose Moreland

Rose Moreland, 72, of Desloge, passed away peacefully July 16, 2021, at home with her loved ones. She was born August 29, 1948, in St. Louis, to the late Alois Otto and Threasa (Welte) Aumann. Rose enjoyed fishing, crafts and gardening. Her biggest joy of all, was watching her grandchildren play their sports.
Rose was also preceded in death by two siblings, John Aumann and Patricia Aumann; one sister in-law, Edna Aumann.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Leonard H. Moreland; three children, Steven Moreland and wife Brenda, Beverly Maberry and husband Gary, Thomas Moreland and wife Sherri; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Alois “Buck” Aumann, Ed (Kathy) Aumann, Patrick (Jo) Aumann, Dorothy Lasley and Else (Morris) Rippie.
No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.

Rose will be missed. She is at peace and no pain standing by her Savior. What a wonderful thought to have .
I am so sorry to hear of Rose’s passing. She was such a good friend to me. Her kindness and compassion will be with her family and friends forever. She beamed when talking about her family. Her love for them knew no bounds. My sympathies to the family. I know the memories you all have will bring comfort and she is always with you. I will miss you my friend.
