Rosemary Halbert

September 13, 1925 ~ August 13, 2021

          Rosemary Halbert, formerly of Desloge, passed away peacefully August 13, 2021, at Crystal Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility in Festus.  She was born September 13, 1925, in French Village, to the late Andrew and Regina (Beck) Schmidt.  Rosemary was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills.  She enjoyed gardening - mainly growing flowers, sewing, laughing and singing, but most of all, spending time with her family and gatherings. 

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin Halbert in September of 2001; siblings, Andrew Schmidt, Jr., Leon Schmidt and Dorothy LaRose.

          Rosemary is survived by seven children, Karen Moore and husband Charles, James Halbert and wife Pat, Gary Halbert and wife Eleanor, Mary Cravens and husband Richard, Christine Halbert, Marcella Monia and husband Mark, Mark Halbert; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and several other family members, also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The visitation will resume Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 8:00 AM.   Funeral Mass will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM, with Father Jim French will be officiating.  Interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for masses or St. Vincent de Paul at https://svdpstlouis.org/ways-help
