Mrs. Sarah Ann Taylor passed away Monday morning, January 7, 2008, at Parkland Health Center, South, Farmington, a tthe age of 78 years, 4 months & 14 days. Sarah was born August 23, 1929, in Farmington, and was the daughter of Horace Joel Gordon, Sr., & Pauline Bell 'Cowley' Gordon. Also preceding in death was her husband, Edward Peers Taylor (July 3, 2000).

Sarah retired from H.C. Products in Illinois. She moved to Farmington and became a member of the Farmington Church of the Nazarene, and worked in the Farmington Country Mart Deli.

Survivors Include : 1 Daughter, Jean 'Mrs. Richard' Galetti, of Henry, IL; 1 Son: Vernon Joel Taylor, of Peoria, IL; 2 Sisters: Marie A. Johnson, of Farmington & Rachel A. Dennis, of Plano, TX. 1 Brother: Horace J. (& Mary) Gordon, Jr., of Farmington. 4 Grandchildren: Kathy 'Mrs. Richard' DeWitt, of New Baden, IL; Tony (& Kim) Galetti, of Pekin, IL; Amy & Joel Taylor, of Chillicothe, IL. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Amber & Noah Galetti, of Pekin, IL.

Visitation : Wednesday, 5-8:30 p.m., Visitation resumes Thursday @ 7:00 a.m.

Funeral : Thursday, 10:30 am, January 10, 2008,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Tim Morgan officiating.

Interment of both Edward and Sarah will take place at : Knights-of-Pythias Cemetery, Farmington.

Memorials to : * Farmington Church of the Nazarene &/or * Wags & Purrs Animal Shelter of Farmington.
