Sheila Lawson, 62, of Bonne Terre passed away surrounded by her family Sunday, May 7, 2023, at St. Joe Manor. She was born Thursday, February 16, 1961, in Bonne Terre to Earl and Nancy (Christopher) Lawson.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents; Edward James, Ruby Belle (Pope) Christopher.

Sheila is survived by her loving mother; daughters, Jennifer Moses, and Danielle Campbell; grandchildren, Andrew and Lauren Moses, Chloe, Falynn, Corbin Campbell, and Evelyn Barger; siblings, Lisa (Paul) Kunderman, Andrea (Jim) Eaton and Christopher L. Lawson. Sheila will be dearly missed by her beloved fur baby Squirrel, several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre with Father James Holbrook officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.

  1. Candle 2Sheila and I were friends for many,many years… I loved her so much! She was a trooper that’s for sure! I will never forget her and all the good times we had together! She told me she loved me and thanked me for being a friend! I will always cherish that and keep her memory deep within my heart! May God Bless her family and be with them all through life!   2. Ty for all you have done for my lifetime and that you were here for me when I had no one to visit w/me I have grown more in these few months I spent w/you . You had made me realize God is so faithful 🙌 it didn’t seem like it when I sat w/you those nights you were in so much pain & I couldn’t do anything fir you sweet friend of mine… I have met your entire family who worried so much about you & it just tore me up inside & I hated to leave your side on some nights.but I had to also. you are already missed so much by us here at St. Joe Manor. Go fly with the angels my sweet friend I will never forget our talks at night & the .any laughs we shared. Missing you so much . I’m gonna miss all of the funny jokes and quirky things you say. But hopefully when my time comes you’ll be there with grandpa to meet me at the gates.
