Stephen Keith Brune, 72, of Farmington passed away September 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 14, 1948 in Bonne Terre to the late Donald and Vera (McDaniel) Brune. He was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Brune.
Stephen was a well-known local car salesman, working for various local car dealers for over 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting with his grandchildren.
Stephen was survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Jason) Daffron; son, Dustin (Jamie Heisel) Brune; grandchildren, Megan (Michael) Schnedler, Maggie (James) Royer, Josie Daffron, Axtin and Trigg Brune; great-grandchildren, Colton, Bristol, and Waylon Schnedler, Dean and future great-granddaughter Royer; sister, Donna (Billy) Bess; two special nieces, Natalie (Cole) Christian, Megan (Andrew) Huhman.
Graveside service will be 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Hillview Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the care of C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.

I am so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather. I have known Steve since high school. He was always an honest, caring, kind man who could always make you laugh. Having lost Jim this past January, I understand the heartache, pain and loss his family is feeling and my heart goes out to all of you, especially the little children.
