Mrs. Thelma Jean 'Major' Nabors passed away Saturday evening, December 22, 2007, at her Ste. Genevieve residence at the age of 72 years, 8 months & 24 days. Thelma was born on March 28, 1935, in St. Francois County & was a daughter of the late William & Beulah 'Wisdom' Major, Also preceding-in-death was her husband, Oscar A. Nabors (April 23, 2003).
Thelma Jean was a member of the Pine Log Baptist Church.
Survivors Include : 2 Daughters - Cindy Nabors (& special friend, Jason Vaughn), of Farmington; Joyce 'Mrs. Curt' Shirley, of Lincoln, MO. 1 Son: Allen Nabors, of Ste. Genevieve County; 1 Sister: Sue 'Mrs. Jim' Dorton, of Tennessee; 2 Brothers: Charles "Butch" (& Beverly) Major, of Farmington; Bill (& Mary) Major, of Steelville, MO; 5 Grandchildren: Elizabeth 'Mrs. Lee' Wiseman; Michael Nabors & special friend, Jenny Vinson; Nicholas Nabors; Jennifer Bowen; Christopher Shunk. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Alyssa & Jacob Wiseman; Dillon Shunk.
Visitation : Wednesday, 5-9 p.m. Visitation resumes Thursday at 7:00 a.m.
Funeral : Thursday, 2 pm, Dec. 27, 2007,
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Eddie DeSpain officiating.
Interment follows at Parkview Cemetery, Farmington.
Memorials to : Pine Log Baptist Church.
