Tonya Lynette TUCKER

April 25, 1960 ~ September 18, 2011

Tonya Lynette Tucker passed away early Sunday morning, September 18, 2011, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington, at the age of 51 years, 4 months & 23 days. Tonya was born on April 25, 1960, in Farmington, and was preceded-in-death by her father, Willard "Bill" Smith, and her husband, Jimmie Allen Tucker (July 24, 2005).


Tonya was a Podiatric Assistant at Mid-West Podiatry.
Survivors Include: a daughter, Kylie (& Aaron) Copeland, of Desloge. 2 Sons: Kristopher (& Jennifer) Tucker, of Farmington; Kurtis (& Faith) Tucker, of Farmington. Her mother, Lavada Smith, of Fredericktown. Mother-In-Law, Margaret Thomas, of Farmington. A sister, Sharon 'Mrs. Jim' Guinn, of Fredericktown & a brother, Mark (& Debbie) Smith, of Farmington. 6 Grandchildren: Hallye & Kalynn Tucker; Alyson & Jayden Tucker; Gaige & Gradi Copeland. Many friends, nieces, nephews, family and a Special Friend, Dennis Cochran. Also, a precious dog, Mattie.
Visitation : Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Wednesday at 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., September 21, 2011
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Tim Morgan officiating.
Interment follows at: Woodlawn Cemetery, Leadington.
Memorials to : Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

  1. Our deepest condolences go out to the Tucker children and grandchildren. I will say this once again, it has been a privilege to watch how you cared for your Mother over the past several years. I know you never questioned her needs, you just met them. You have indeed been a shining example for those of us who might need to do the same thing one day. I know you will miss her, but God will meet you and dry your tears, in his time.

Ralize you will miss her as sure you have your Dad but knowing that they are no longer in pain and suffering might be of some consolation during those dark hours.
