Velma Perry

          Velma Perry, 87, of Park Hills, passed away April 29, 2021, at Parkland South Health Center in Farmington.  She was born December 30, 1933, in Iron Mountain, to the late John and Irene (Fortner) Cash.  Velma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge and enjoyed going to church when she was able.  Her greatest joy of all, was being a grandma and she loved her grandchildren. 

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Perry; son, Darrell Perry; siblings, Betty Spivey and Eddie Cash.

          Velma was survived by her children, Mark Perry and wife Elaine, Keith Perry and wife Judy; four grandchildren, Zachary, Adam, Alex, and Kyle; siblings Leslie (Cleta) Cash and Virgil (Ruth) Cash; special mention to niece, Bonnie Hartrup; sister in-law, Diane Perry, along with many other nieces, nephews and other family members.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, May 2, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The visitation will resume, Monday, May 3, 2021, from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Bradford Laubinger will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery in Leadwood.  Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church in Desloge.
