Mrs. Veona Jones, of Farmington, formerly of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at St. Francois Manor Nursing Home, in Farmington, at the age of 91 years, 1 month & 12 days. Veona was born March 29, 1913 in Paragould, Arkansas, to Claude & Mary 'Brummett' Walker. She was also preceded-in-death by: her husband, Roy Jones (1981); 1 Son, Wallace Gene Yates; 1 Daughter, in-infancy, Alma Fay; & 8 Brothers. Veona was a member of The Church of Christ. SURVIVORS INCLUDE : 4 Grandchildren - Wallace (& Mona) Yates, of Farmington; Crystal (& Kenneth) LaForge, of Williford, Ark., Paul Wallace Yates, of Virginia & Claude Gene Yates, of Taunton, Mass. Also surviving are 5 Great-Grandchildren & 1 Great, Great-Granddaughter. Visitation Friday, 5-8 p.m, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington. Visitation will resume Saturday morning, at 10:30 a.m., at the Shiloh Cemetery, Paragould, Arkansas.
