Mrs. Verna Mae 'Woods' Fuson passed away Oct. 4, 2004, at her Columbia, MO., residence at the age of 84. Verna Mae was a former Farmington resident. Mrs. Fuson was born Sept. 30, 1920, in High Point, MO., to Gordon & Mildred 'Jennison' Woods. Her childhood was spent in the Moniteau County-area where she leaves many relatives & friends. She was married Oct. 24, 1942, to Percy (Bud) Fuson, who preceded her in death. Also preceding was 1 Brother, Lawrence Dean Woods. The Fuson family resided in Farmington from 1951 -to- 1971 and were active in many school & community organizations. Mrs. Fuson enjoyed quilting, researching family genealogy & was especially known for her cooking skills. Immediate survivors are her 2 DAUGHTERS: Cheri Fuson, of Columbia & Deedra Von Fange of Wilmington, Delaware. 1 GRANDDAUGHTER: Emily Von Fange, of Wilmington & her beloved cat, Riley. Visitation will be: Saturday, Oct. 9th, 1-3 pm @ TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL. As she wished, a service will not be held. Interment will follow visitation in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, with Dr. David Webster officiating.
