Violet Fern Pierce, age 77, of DeSoto, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. She was born on July 8, 1943 to the late Chesley and Gladys (Dodson) Ramsey.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn Pierce; daughter, Connie Pierce; sons, Jerry and Daniel Pierce; siblings, Ruth Mauer, Ray Ramsey, Donald Ramsey, Delbert Ramsey and Jim Ramsey.
Violet is survived by her children, Dennis (Deborah) Pierce, Michael (Shannon) Pierce and Timmy Pierce; siblings, Kenny Ramsey and Sharon Bemis; brother-in-law, Ed Mauer and very special friends, Randy Taylor, Brenda Taylor and Pamela Hill; several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Worked with Glenn for several years and became friends with him and Violet. Great people who meant a lot to me. I visited them at their home in Bonne Terre many times after Glenn retired. Prayers for the family.
