Virgie Olene 'Ross' Sigelnski entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009. She was a resident of Autumn Ridge Senior Living, a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. She was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Smithville, Ark., to Virgil & Mahala Ross.

She is preceded in death by her 1st husband and father of her children, James Drew Melton, and 2nd husband, Joseph E. Sigelnski.

As we her children & others mourn her passing, we realize that our blessings in life have been immense to have had her chosen our Mother, and we now give her to God, our loving Father.

She leaves behind 1 daughter, Carol Austin (Clarence), of Bloomsdale; 4 Sons: Virgil Melton (Verna), of Hillsboro; Lonnie Melton (Kay), of Barnhart; Gerald Melton (Patti), of Imperial & David Melton (Carolyn), of Springfield, MO. 1 Sister, Marie Oliver (Glen), of Lynn, Ark., 1 Brother, J.R. Ross (Judy), of Ravendon, Ark. She was the Grandmother of 12; Great-Grandmother of 12. Also surviving, a dear friend and companion, Ed Saypack.

Visitation starts : Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at 12 Noon.

Funeral : Friday, Oct. 23rd, at 1:00 p.m.

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Pastor Jason Sparks officiating.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
