Wanda Lee OLIVER

Mrs. Wanda Lee Oliver passed away Friday afternoon, May 28, 2010, at her St. Joe Manor residence in Bonne Terre, at the age of 82 years, 2 months & 23 days. Wanda was born on March 5, 1928, in Settle, Kentucky, and was the daughter of Everett Andrews and Ada Mae Pearl 'Penrod' Andrews. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Louis Randolph Oliver (2001), and a sister, Geraldine Hurt.
Wanda was a longtime faithful member of Farmington First Baptist Church.
Survivors Include : a daughter, Laura 'Mrs. Roy' Conger, of Collinsville, Illinois. a son, Eddie (& Glenda) Oliver, of Desloge. 3 Grandsons: Roy Conger, Jr., Jeff Conger & Dennis Conger. a Step-Grandson: Dustin Wittwer. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Kayla, Kaci, Brandon Louis & Lillian Conger & a Niece: Valina Hurt.
Visitation : Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Wednesday @ 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., June 2, 2010
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.
Interment : Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., @ Lake View Memorial Cemetery in Fairview Heights, IL.

Sadness overwhelmed me this morning; when I read that your Mother had passed away. I'm unable to put into words, how sorry I am. May you know I've always thought of Wanda as a wonderful woman; who was so kind and understanding. How blessed you were to have her in your life. Laura & Eddie, So sorry for your loss of your mother. She was such a special person and will be missed dearly. I have very fond memories of Wanda and your father when we all were neighbors and all of us growing up in Washington Park. How time has flown. My deepest condolences. Karen Holdman
