Wayne Ketcherside

January 21, 1958 ~ February 12, 2021

          Wayne Carl Ketcherside, age 63, of Desloge, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born on January 21, 1958, to the late Harold Clois and Leona (Lercher) Ketcherside. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one sister, Vicky Ketcherside.

           Wayne is survived by his son, Shawn (Sheri) Ketcherside; stepchildren, Matt Manser, Tommy Smith, Lance Smith and Lydia Smith; grandson, Dean Ketcherside; special companion, Teresa Middleton; special friends, Larry Gremminger, Mark Moss and Jeff (Debbie) Mahurin.

          Wayne worked for the City of Desloge as a mechanic and also was a volunteer fireman. He owned and operated Harold’s Repair Shop.

          Visitation will be held at CZ Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday February 20, 2021 from 4:00P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with an Ozark Fire Fighter service at 7:00 P.M. Saturday evening.  Visitation will resume Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. until time of the service at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Mark Moss officiating. Interment will follow at Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to BackStoppers.

          The service can also be viewed on the C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home Facebook page, live on Sunday at 1:00 P.M. or at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Face mask or coverings are required to be worn at all times.
