Wilma A. BOTKIN

January 10, 1926 ~ January 24, 2010

Mrs. Wilma A. Botkin passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor at the age of 84 years & 14 days. Wilma was born Jan. 10, 1926, in Redford, MO., & was the daughter of William F. Santhuff & Iva C. 'Carpenter' Santhuff. Also preceding in death were: 2 Sisters: Cissy Santhuff, in-infancy & Glenda M. Baker. 2 Brothers: William L. Santhuff & Roy F. Santhuff. 1 Half-Sister: Sandra Wesa.

Wilma was a longtime, faithful member of Farmington First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and GA Leader. Wilma was an avid golfer; square dancer; loved painting & ceramics; enjoyed babysitting and taking her granddaughters on trips. Retirement with her husband was spent doing all of the above plus traveling abroad and in all the states in America. She was married to Robert E. Botkin on April 5, 1947, in Centerville, Missouri.

Survivors Include: her husband of 62 years, Robert E. Botkin, of Farmington. 1 daughter, Karen 'Mrs. Albert' Cleve, of Farmington. 1 son, Robert E. Botkin, II, of Lynden, WA; 3 Sisters: Jessie M. 'Mrs. Lloyd' Pogue, of Sugarland, TX; Berta F. 'Mrs. Ronald' Maupin, of Sugarland, TX; Laura Molene 'Mrs. Fred' Anderle, of Gilmer, TX. 1 Half-Brother: William F. Santhuff, of Potosi, MO; 2 Sisters-In-Law, Catherine Santhuff, of Buffalo, TX & Ruby Santhuff, of Shelton, WA. 2 Granddaughters: Jennifer L. 'Mrs. Donnie' Blum, of Farmington & Katherine L. 'Mrs. Matthew' Winick, of Farmington. 2 Great-Granddaughters: Campbell L. Blum & Kendall R. Blum, both of Farmington. Also surviving are several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation : Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Wednesday, 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Funeral : Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., January 27, 2010

at : Farmington First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.

Interment follows at : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.

Memorials to : * Farmington First Baptist Church &/or * St. Francois Co., American Cancer Society - Relay for Life.

So sorry we cannot attend but Johns health is not the best now. I am so thankful we visit with you and Wilma when we were in town the last time.   10. To the family of Wilma Botkin Sonny and I had a lot of fun playing golf with Bob and Wilma. We enjoyed playing with them. I am sorry that we were unable to attend visitation or the funeral. Our prayers are with you. May God wrap His Loving Arms around you and comfort you.
