Mrs. Zetta Lucille 'Eaton' Mell passed away Sunday afternoon, Dec. 6, 2009, at Gateway Regional Medical Center, Granite City, IL., at the age of 92 years, 11 months & 21 days. Zetta was born Dec. 15, 1916, in Mississippi Co., Missouri, & was the daughter of James Henry Eaton and Cora Radie 'Kindred' Eaton. Also preceding in death were: her husband, Glenwood Francis Mell (2002); 3 Sisters: Viola Erlinger; Shirley Dalton & Helen Ruth Eaton. Also, 4 Brothers: Murrill; Melvin; Alva & Dale Eaton.
Zetta was a member of: * Nameoki Methodist Church, Granite City, IL; * Gateway Senior Circle; * The Lydia Circle; * Missionary Group Spouse Support Group; & * The Collinsville Christian Women's Connection.
Survivors Include : 2 Daughters, Valencia (Steve) Novosel, of Glen Carbon, IL; Glendine Mell (Michael Lindvay), of Garrett, IN; 2 Sisters: Gladys Anderson, of Fredericktown, MO; Joyce Summers, of Mt. Sterling, KY; 3 Grandchildren: Angela (Mike) 'Novosel' West, of Glen Carbon, IL; Anne (Rob) 'Lindvay' Havlovich, of Chantilly, VA & Mick (Emma) Lindvay, of Ft. Wayne, IN. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Steffen, Garrison & Ashlin West. Kennedy & Michael Lindvay. Also surviving are a number of other family members & friends, including Good Friend, Millie Clements.
Visitation: Wednesday, 4-8 pm. Visitation resumes Thurs., 6:30 am
Funeral : Thursday, 11:00 a.m., December 10, 2009
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Tim Pate officiating.
Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, MO.

Val and family; So sorry to see the passing of your mother. My heart goes out to you and your family. We are going through the same thing with my Mom, She was 91 in June and going down hill fast. Really sorry to hear about Aunt Zetta. I have alot of good memories of her. She was a great Aunt and a very loving person. Sorry I can't make it I have a broken foot and have to stay off of it for another 3 weeks. My condolences. Love, Mike Dalton and Family Shirley's son
