Acel Floyd Myers

Acel Myers, 95, of Desloge, passed away on June 16, 2026, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born on March 25, 1931, in Reynolds County, to the late Frank and Ida (Huitt) Myers. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 72 years, Rena Louise (Prater) Myers and his son, Floyd Lee Myers.

Acel is survived by his son, Robert Myers; four grandchildren, Heather Myers, Melissa Brady, Allison Mapps, and Floyd Myers; five great-grandchildren, Bella Hampton, James Hampton, Ireland Brady, Maple Brady, and Olivine Brady; special fur baby Donnie; other family members and friends, also survive.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, June 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM until noon.

A private family entombment will be at St. Francois Memorial Park, in Bonne Terre. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son in Desloge.
