Adabelle R. Nichols

Mrs. Adabelle R. Nichols passed away Monday evening, March 17, 2003, at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, in Farmington, at the age of 83 years, 4 months & 21 days. Adabelle was born on October 26, 1919, in St. Louis, Missouri & was the daughter of the late Cecil Ulysses Hughes & Rena Corintha 'Sutton' Hughes. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Thorne Nichols & 1 Brother, Lt. Burt F. Hughes. Adabelle was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington and a retired schoolteacher, teaching in the Dallas, Texas, school system for 30+ years. SURVIVORS INCLUDE; 1 SISTER, Evelyn Coffey, of Edina, Minn.; 3 NIECES: Kathleen 'Mrs. Dudley' Arp, of Burnsville, MN; Patricia Coffey, of Edina, MN; Judith 'Mrs. Charles' Hinz, of Burnsville, MN; 2 GREAT-NIECES: twins, Jaclyn & Sarah Hinz, of Burnsville, MN; & 1 GREAT-NEPHEW: Charles Hinz, of Burnsville, MN. A local COUSIN, Sheila Middleton, of Farmington, as well as numerous other cousins. Visitation & funeral on Monday, March 24th. Visitation starts at 12 Noon & the funeral will be at 2:00 p.m., at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. David Webster officiating. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to any fund or organization of the donor's choice.
