Adam Joseph Howard

           Adam Howard, 36, of Bonne Terre, passed away June 25, 2022.  He was born October 3, 1985, in Festus, to Steve and Kelli (Motley) Howard.  Adam was a 2004 North County High School graduate and continued on to Meramec Junior College.  He had many accomplishments, which started as a young boy playing Babe Ruth Baseball and continuing on past his high school career.  Adam was a record setter and assisted his 2003 North County High School Baseball team to State Champs.  He was also All-State, not only in baseball, but football as well.  He continued his baseball career into college and was later drafted by the Florida Marlins, where he played 3 years for Greensboro Grasshoppers in North Carolina.  Adam was later inducted into the North County Hall of Fame. 

          Adam enjoyed helping young kids improve their baseball skills.  He also enjoyed playing softball, golf, horseshoes and going on float trips, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.

          He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Vernon “Punk” Motley.

          Adam is survived by his parents, Steve and Kelli Howard of Farmington; step-daughters, Lily and Maya; siblings, Steven Howard and wife Mandy, Bradley Howard and wife Jessi, Katie Gollaher and husband Derek; nieces and nephews, Calvin, Benny, Ryder, Abram, Landon, Isaac, Ivy and Ellie; maternal grandmother, Trena Motley; paternal grandparents, Rita Harris and George Lawrence Howard; other family members and many friends, also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM.  Pastor Ronnie Dane will be officiating.  Memorials may be directed to the Adam Howard Memorial Scholarship Fund at First State Community Bank.
