Aimee Rose Ross of Poplar Bluff, Missouri went missing in May of 2023. She was born November 3, 1992 in Farmington, Missouri the daughter of the late Timothy Michael Smith and Danielle Renee (Ross) Smith of Farmington, Missouri. Following months of waiting, Aimee has been identified and her family can grieve her loss. Aimee is the mother of two young daughters: Lamiah Hammons and Jalynn Hammons of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. They reside with their father, Stanley Hammons who has maintained a friendship with their Mom. Aimee is also survived by her sister: Alyssa (Smith) Bates of Belleview, Missouri, and her children: Emmalyn, Easton, and Cedar. Several aunts survive: Joann Leitch (Ray), Marie Laird, Susie Reed (Steve), Billie Ricketts (Joey), and Brooke Golden (Ozzie) and two uncles survive: John Smith (Melanie) and Justin Orrick (Katie) as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her Dad, Aimee was preceded in death by her uncle, Nicholas Orrick. Aimee was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Arcadia where she attended as a small child and learned to love the Lord. Aimee enjoyed being a mother and her daughters were her world. She had a great appreciation of art and music. She was a good artist and found enjoyment drawing and coloring, especially with her girls. Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at Grace Chrisitan Fellowship Church with Pastor Steve Reed officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
