Alan Dale Davison, Sr.

Alan Dale Davison, Sr., 73, of Farmington passed away March 27, 2024 at Camelot Nursing Center. He was born November 3, 1950 in Vandalia, IL to the late Dilbert Davison and Bessie (Cassidy) Beckering. Alan attended St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington. He was a police officer in the area and surrounding counties for many years. He later worked for Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health at the Aquinas Center. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Brennan) Davison; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Davison; and grandson, Kenneth Allen Davison.

Alan is survived by his son, Alan Dale Davison, Jr. and wife Brittany of East Alton, IL; four grandchildren, Grace Davison, Peyton Davison, Aiden Davison and Paul Wenzel; three siblings, Paul Davison, Russell Davison and wife Debbie, Ann Coleman and husband Chuck; significant other, Diane Bannister. Several nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive. 

Visitation will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington from Noon until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.
