Alberta Opal Middleton

Alberta Opal Middleton, 88, of Desloge passed away September 16, 2019 at NHC Healthcare in Desloge. She was born October 12, 1930 in Wortham to the late Jesse John and Opal (Hampton) Briley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Middleton; two daughters, Debra Marler and Tonya Blackwell; three sons, Lemion Merlin Middleton, Carlos Ray Middleton and Stanley LeRoy Middleton; three brothers, Leon, Bill and Jerry; four sisters, Thornetta, Ruby, Esther and June.

Alberta is survived by two children, David Middleton and Lila Faye Stahlschmidt. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Leadwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
