Alden Dean Sebastian Jr

Alden Dean Sebastian, Jr., 75, of Ironton, passed away October 4, 2023, at NHC Healthcare in Desloge. He was born December 13, 1947, in Ironton to the late Alden D. Sebastian, Sr. and Lois (Seal) Sebastian. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lois Boertlein.

Alden proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired after 30 years from Caterpillar as a skilled trade machinist. He enjoyed being in his band, the JRB, where he sang and played the guitar. He was an Assembly of God minister, a street minister and he also preached at the prison. Alden loved spending time with his family.

Alden is survived by his wife, Peggy (Frederick) Sebastian; children, Alexandria “Dorie” Sebastian, Alden “Chip” Dean Sebastian and wife, Beth; four grandchildren, Melyssa, Kaydence, and Matthew Sebastian, and Caleb White; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Herbert (Carol) Sebastian.
