Alfred "A.J." Layton

Alfred Jerome Layton, known to most as A.J. passed away in St. Louis, Missouri on December 21, 2024, at the age of 57 years. He was born October 2, 1967, in Fredericktown, Missouri. A.J. is survived by his son: David Layton and wife, Faith of Holts Summit, Missouri; his parents: David and Melinda (DePew) Layton of Mexico; his brother: Joseph Layton and wife, Michelle, and their son, Joey of San Jose, California; and his sister: Jamie Layton and her partner, Eric Metrat and baby Faye, of France. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. AJ enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on both motorcycles and cars. Being a mechanic was not only a vocation, but a hobby as well. He liked to go fishing. AJ's family will have a private gathering to share memories.
