Alma Mae Henson

Alma Mae Henson, age 90 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Ozark Manor Care Center in Fredericktown. She was born on July 30, 1927 in Fredericktown a daughter of Alonzo Earl and Anna May (Vandergriff) Bollinger. On April 16, 1945 in Fredericktown she was united in marriage to Normal Charles Henson Jr., he preceded her in death on May 12, 2014. Her parents and one son, Larry Dean Henson, brothers, Earl Bollinger and Norman Bollinger and three sisters, Almedia McDaniel, Anna Madison and Rose Waples also precedes her. She is survived by one son – Michael Henson of Fredericktown; one brother – Donald (Dorothy) Bollinger of Titusville, Florida; two sisters – Carol (Terry) LaChance of Fredericktown and Doris Lohse of Amarillo, Texas; one granddaughter – Monica and three great-grandchildren. Alma had worked as a nurse's aide for the Boone County Hospital in Columbia, Missouri; she enjoyed quilting, reading, gospel music and going to church at Calvary Church in Fredericktown. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m., on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown with Bro. Tommy Fults officiating. Condolences may be posted on this website.
