Mrs. Alpha Alfonda 'Drum' Brune passed away March 1, 2002, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center, Farmington, at the age of 93 years, 1 month & 16 days. She was born in Daisy, MO., on Jan. 15, 1909, to Arnold & Bertie A. 'Brown' Drum. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Roscoe Paul Brune (Jan. 10, 1975); 1 Son, Roscoe Donald Brune (Sept. 9, 1994); 1 Son-In-Law: Gary D. Giles (Sept. 2, 2000); 1 Great-Grandson, Joshua Brune; 3 Brothers: 1, in-infancy; Wilson Drum & J.R. Drum. Also, 1 Sister, Alma Doggett. Alpha was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Farmington. She was united in marriage Nov. 27, 1926, to Roscoe Paul Brune. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: DAUGHTER: Joan Giles, of Ironton, MO; SON: Randol (& Nancy) Brune, of Olathe, KS; BROTHER: Marvin "Ted" (& Virgie) Drum, of Jackson, MO; DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: Vera Brune, of Farmington; GRANDCHILDREN: Steve Brune; Donna Bess; Paul Brune; Daniel Brune; Laura Brune; Rhonda Warden; Dana Hale & Debra Mickan. Also, 11 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great, Great-Granddaughters; 2 Step, Great-Grandsons; 1 Step, Great, Great-Granddaughter. Visitation Monday, March 4, 2002, 5-8 pm; resuming Tuesday, 7 am & funeral Tuesday, 10 am, March 5, 2002, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Rev. Dino Pacilli & Rev. James King officiating. Interment following at The Lutheran Cemetery, in Farmington. Memorials to: St. Paul Lutheran Church - Hand Bell Choir.
