Alta Faye Faulkner

Alta "Faye" Faulkner, age 74 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born on July 2, 1945 in Torch, Missouri, a daughter of Samuel Allison and Alta Ellen (Reynolds) Davis. On April 12, 1973 in Piedmont, Missouri she was united in marriage to Samuel Edward Faulkner, he preceded her in death on March 15, 2018. She is also preceded by her parents, three brothers – William, Sammy and Tony Davis and one sister, Geraldine Head. She is survived by her three daughters – Ellen Lawler, Judy Bellew and husband Rob and Helen Walls and husband Bobby all of Fredericktown; four brothers – Elmer Davis of Marquand, Missouri, Roy Davis and wife Cathy of Farmington, Missouri, Johnny Davis and wife Beverly of Fredericktown and Jack Davis and wife Brenda of Marquand; two sisters – Nancy Ellen Gregory of Fredericktown and Freda May Ward of Marquand; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Faye was a homemaker, she enjoyed fishing, flower and vegetable gardening and collecting rocks. She also enjoyed working with the horses on the farm. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Cowboy Church in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 also on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Cowboy Church with Pastor Steve Francis officiating. Interment will be at the Revelle Cemetery in Cherokee Pass near Fredericktown. Memorial contributions re suggested to Revelle Cemetery. Condolences may be posted to this website.
