Alta Lillian Brooks

Alta Brooks, 91 of Desloge, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Country Meadows in Park Hills.She was born May 6, 1921 in Irondale to the late William and Carrie (Helms) Sedgewick. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Homer Craig; sons, Danny Craig and Ronnie Craig; two brothers and four sisters. Alta is survived by children, Larry (Sandy Raymer) Craig of Bismarck, Linda Patten of Desloge, Homer R. Craig of St. Louis, and Shirley (Richard) King of Grand Prairie, TX; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family will accept friends at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.The service will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge at 1:00 PM, with Steve Stillman officiating.Interment will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Wortham.
