Alvin V. Hicks

Mr. Alvin V. Hicks passed away on Wednesday evening, March 29, 2006, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, MO., at the age of 76 years & 2 days. Alvin was born on March 27, 1930, in Mine la Motte, MO., to Clyde Hicks & Dora 'Lenz' Hicks. Also preceding-in-death were: 3 Sisters, Aileen Holmes; Merceliete Sebastian & Willette Ellis. Also, 1 Brother, in-infancy & 1 Nephew, Dennis Lee Ellis.

Alvin was a member & Elder of the Libertyville Christian Church & a US ARMY Veteran of the Korean War Conflict.

Survivors Include: his Wife, Nelda Jane 'Mudge' Hicks, of Fredericktown; 1 Daughter, Debra 'Mrs. David' Vuilcott, of Fredericktown; 1 Grandson, Ethan Vuilcott, of Fredericktown. Also surviving are numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation: Friday, 5-9 pm. Visitation resumes Saturday, 7-11 am.

Funeral: Saturday, 1:00 p.m., April 1, 2006, with Rev. George Draper officiating.
