Amanda Catherine Whitmore

Amanda Catherine Whitmore, of Doe Run, Missouri, (formerly of Fredericktown, Missouri) passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at her home in Doe Run at the age of 44. She was born on March 3, 1980, in Odessa, Texas, a daughter of Charles Marcellous and Mariam Catherine (Scott) Grizzell.

On January 13, 2001, at Mtn. View Church in Marquand, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Nicky Lynn Whitmore, he survives at the home.

Other survivors include her three daughters – Adrianna Whitmore of Kansas City, Missouri, Kaitlin Whitmore and Allison Whitmore both of Doe Run; her mother & father-in-law – Betty & Rickey Whitmore of Cherokee Pass, Missouri and her faithful companion – her pug "Lucille Ball".

Amanda worked for Caring Hands Home Health in Fredericktown; she enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, baking cakes, decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas and most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., also on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Proffer officiating.

Interment will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fredericktown.
