Amelia Glenora Sutton

Amelia Wells Sutton, 84 years of age, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on December 7, 2012. She was born October 17, 1928 in Daytown, MO, to the late James Franklin and Mary (Serini) Wells. Amelia was united in marriage to Glen Wood Sutton, who preceded her in death on August 22, 2006. To this union three daughters were born; Jane Sutton (Jerry Caslow) of Glenrock, PA, Jeri Coffey (Wayne Hoffman) Lakewood, CO, Nancy Holzworth of Reno NV, a brother, Paul Wells of Leadwood, MO, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband Glen, she was preceded in death by nine brothers. Amelia was a homemaker, a label that does not capture her talents and skills, including upholstering furniture, making clothes out of feed sacks and satin, cooking for her family as well as for church activities, and maintaining a cozy and warm home.
