Ami Leigh Melton

Ami Leigh (White) Melton, age 40, of Potosi, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at BJC Evelyn’s House. She was born March 25, 1979 in Farmington, Missouri. Ami loved listening to music, cooking, and playing video games with her kids.

Ami was preceded in death by her mom, Karen Mendenhall; grandparents, Victor White, Robert and Laura AuBuchon; niece, Lauran Herrington.

Ami is survived by her dad, Kenneth White; stepmom Cherril Patterson; stepdad, Jeff Mendenhall; children, Cyrus Yount, Athan Melton, Jacey Mendenhall, and Daemon Kenneth White; siblings, Karla (Josh) Herrington, Amanda (Greg) Stegall, Ashley (fiancé Jason Harris) Hardy, and Travis (Reanna) Mendenhall; grandparents, Bob and Myrtle Conway, Carmel White; and many other friends and family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 9:30 am until service time of 11 am at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre with Pastor Ron Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Jarvis Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
