Ann Brown

Ann (Ms. Annie) Brown, 92, of Desloge,Mo passed away December 3, 2011. She was born on April 20th, 1919 inRichmond Minnesota to the late Gus and Lizzie Jansen.Ann was preceded in death by herhusband of 57 years, Earnest A. Brown.Ms. Annie is survived by twosisters, Wally Nohner and Betty Hilsgen; one brother, Leo Jansen; many niecesand nephews; and many many friends.She belonged to VFW Auxiliary andthe DAV Auxiliary.Ms. Annie had worked at TrimFoot,the Girl Scout Uniform Factory, and The Pants Factory. After her retirement shecontinued her love of quilting and for the last few years she made and donatedquilts, lap quilts, and baby quilts to the Abused Womens Shelter. Ms. Anniealso donated quilts for the cats and dogs at the humane society. Visitation will be held at C.Z.Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, December 5, 2011 from 5:00 PM to8 PM. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 9 AM atthe Big River Cemetery in Irondale Mo.In lieu of flowers memorials arerequested to be made to the Farmington Pet Adoption Center or the SEMO FamilyViolence Council in Bonne Terre, Mo.
