With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Martha Moeser, affectionately known as "Anna Banana," who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 83, Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Anna lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lorraine (Crawford) Habig; her loving husband Carl Moeser, Jr., two siblings, Doris Pugh and Ralph Halbig; two sisters in law, Georgia Miller and Ruth Ann Moeser, four brothers in law, Stewart Gitlin, James Decker, Carl Miller and Jim Pugh.
She is survived by her son, Paul Edmonds and wife Julie, and daughter, Tina Edmonds-Mackley and husband Christopher; seven grandchildren, Pauline and Jason Hubbard, Matthew and Michelle Edmonds, Christopher and Ashley Edmonds, Kelly And Dan Dunn, Eric and Nicole Edmonds, Adam Haberkampf and fiancé Megan Swan, and Amber and Mike Miller; twenty-two great grandchildren with one to be due in April 2026; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister Virginia Millecker; two sisters in law, Debbie Decker and Carlene Gitlin; along with nieces and nephews and a host of friends she cherished.
Anna dedicated herself to caregiving and helping others, always willing to lend a hand and support those in need. Her nurturing spirit was felt by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Anna thrived in the company of family, and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids, whom she adored beyond measure.
A woman of many passions, Anna found joy in ceramics, bowling, and solving puzzles. She often filled her days with laughter while engaging in video games, cards, and bingo, and was known to sit for hours playing Yahtzee with friends and family. Anna had a lively spirit, and her love for music and dance was infectious, encouraging those around her to join in the celebration of life.
Anna was also a devoted admirer of birds, and took great pleasure in collecting them. Her vivacious personality shone brightly in social gatherings, whether at the casino or simply enjoying the company of friends. Her warmth and love for life will be deeply missed by all.
A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 11:30 A.M. until service time of 1:00 P.M. Laura Bilbrey will be officiating. Burial will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Memorials can be made in Anna’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research in Memphis, TN.
As we remember Anna, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, compassion, and joy will continue to inspire all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Anna Banana. Your spirit will forever dance in our hearts.
