Barbara Jean Fisher of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away May 24, 2024 in Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of 80 years. She was born April 20, 1944 in Ironton, Missouri the daughter of the late Harry John and Zelma Eunice (Snelson) Browers. On April 24, 1960 she was united in marriage to Everett Junior Fisher who preceded her in death in August of 2001. They were the parents of six sons: Darrell Fisher and wife, Micheline of Del Ray Beach, Florida, Fred Fisher and wife, Bethany of Wentzville, Missouri, Mike Fisher of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Craig Fisher and wife, Lisa of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Dwayne Fisher and Dave Fisher who both preceded her in death. Barbara is survived by one sister: Marie Gibbons of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and five brothers: Buddy Browers and wife, Joyce of Ironton, Emsley Browers and wife, Anise of Ironton, Roger Browers and wife, Fern of Lesterville, Jimmy Browers of Park Hills, and Eddie Browers and wife, Wanda of Ironton, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Palmer and her brothers, Lawrence Browers and Marvin Browers. Barbara was a member of the Lake Ozark Christian Church. For seventeen years she was the devoted manager of Hope House, a food bank affiliated with the church. She began every morning with a cup of coffee to sip as she watched the deer outside her windows. She loved true crime documentaries, murder mysteries and Hallmark movies. She was an avid reader who loved word search puzzles and was certainly never seen without her earrings. Most of all she was a devoted Mamaw and mother who adored her many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services for Barbara will be held at Bryson Funeral Home in Pilot Knob, Missouri on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 12:00 noon PM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park immediately following the service.
