Barbara Sue Wilkinson

Barbara Sue Wilkinson, age 71 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Southbrook Nursing Center in Farmington, Missouri. She was born on October 12, 1953, in Danville, Kentucky to Sie Leonard and Bernic Murel (Gipson) Merriman.

She is survived by one daughter – Amber Wilkinson; two brothers – Sie Merriman Jr. and Eugene Merriman; two sisters – Brenda Johnson and husband Paul and Carol Brittenham; an aunt – Fay Myers and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Regina Dowd.

Barbara had worked as coordinator for East Missouri Action Agency; she enjoyed cooking, embroidering, playing bingo and spending time with her family; she attended Grace Church of the Heartland in Fredericktown.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
