Barry Mccord

Barry G. McCord, 53, of Bonne Terre passed away November 3, 2013. He was born January 29, 1960 in Bonne Terre. Mr. McCord was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Gladys (Marshall) McCord; and brother, Dewayne McCord.Mr. McCord was owner and operator of American Heritage Abstract Company in Desloge and Potosi Abstract Company. He also served as a construction disbursing coordinator for Continental Title in Arnold. He was a member of the House of Praise Church of God in Desloge, a former North County School Board Member for 4 years. He is an alumni member for the FBI Citizen Academy and was a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Citizen Academy. Barry was a graduate of the Festus R-6 class of 1978 and was a Jefferson College graduate. Barry is survived by his wife, Deneen (Waller) McCord; three daughters, Maegen (Randall) Turnbough, Melissa (Kyle) Brewen and Madison McCord all of Desloge; great-granddaughter, Maelynn Turnbough; father, L. Ferrel McCord; father and mother in law, Sonny and Janet (Tiefenauer) Waller; special brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday November 6, 2013 from 5:30 PM to 9 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, visitation will resume Thursday from 9 AM to 11 AM at the House of Praise Church of God in Desloge. The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11 AM with Rev. Rick Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Desloge Food Pantry.
