Barry Shapiro, aged 88, of Valles Mines, Missouri, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Barry was born on Saturday, May 29, 1937, Barry lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and love.
Barry dedicated over two decades of his life as a substance counselor, where he touched countless lives with his understanding and support. His work made a remarkable difference in the community, reflecting his deep commitment to helping others navigate their challenges.
At the heart of Barry's life he is survived by his beloved wife, Francisca Shapiro. Their 21 years of marriage were filled with joy, companionship, and shared experiences. They treasured their time together, whether it was dining out at their favorite restaurants or exploring nearby shops. Their bond was a testament to love’s enduring power and the joy found in companionship.
A private family burial will take place at Hillview Memorial Gardens, in Farmington, Missouri. Barry leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and love that will resonate through the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
