Berlene (Tiefenauer) Wright

Berlene (Tiefenauer) Wright, 89 of Desloge, joined our Lord, Wednesday, October 31, 2012.She was born February 9, 1923 in Munger, Missouri to the late Walter and Alma (OBryan) Tiefenauer.Berlene was a devoted Christian and served the Lord faithfully.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Desloge and an employee for St. Joe Lead Co., for over 43 years.She worked in both the Bonne Terre and Viburnam offices. Berley was also preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Lee and Russell Tiefenauer; and sisters, Mildred Tiefenauer and Bernice Hawkins. She is survived by her husband, Gene Wright of Desloge; sisters Beulah Tiefenauer, and Bess (Harold) Myers, both of Farmington; brothers Walter "Cotton" (Pat) and Hershel "Herky" (June) Tiefenauer of Desloge, and special niece, Cindy Myers of Farmington; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and resume at the First Baptist Church in Desloge at 9:00 AM Friday, November 2, 2012.The service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bradford Laubinger and Dr. William Miller officiating.Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Desloge Building Fund or The Ironton Baptist Home.
