Bertha Jeanette Cox

Bertha J. Cox of Belleview, Missouri passed away April 20, 2018 in Washington, Missouri at the age of 77 years. She was born February 23, 1941 in Esther, Missouri the daughter of the late Lester and Irene (Stricklin) Cureton. Bertha had two children, Kenneth and Pam Cox. She is survived by two brothers; Joe and Ray Cureton both of Toledo, OH and five sisters; Ruby Tanner, Geneva Wozniak, Louetta Jeremy, Debbie Toth all of Toledo, Ohio, and Dorothy Ray of Jacksonville, Florida. Bertha is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bertha was preceded in death by a brother; Glen Cureton and a sister; Hilda Keeler. Bertha was a longtime resident at Belleview Valley Nursing Home. For over 50 years she has touched the lives of others; including the residents who lived there and the wonderful staff at Belleview Valley Nursing Home. In her last months, she stayed at Crab Apple Village in St. Clair, Missouri with family and friends. Bertha will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
