Bessie G. Neisius

Bessie Neisius, 82, of Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus. Bessie was born on August 5, 1942 in Farmington to the late Franklin and Verona (Dix) Smith. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. They were her life. Bessie also enjoyed sewing and sudoku.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Lynn Joseph Neisius; children, Brian Neisius (Jenny), Melinda Brown (Rob); grandchildren, Zachary, Jillian, Isabella, Masey, Soren, Mitchell; siblings, Anna Murphy (Jim), Patsy Patterson, Kattie Sherrill (Jim).

A graveside inurnment will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Homes – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
