Betty Ray Ford of Annapolis, Missouri passed away June 18, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 24, 1927 in Bunker, Missouri the daughter of the late William Henry and Virginia Lela (Warfel) Light. On September 28, 1946, she was united in marriage to John Wesley Ford, and they shared seventy-seven years together. To this union three children were born: Brenda Lewis and husband, William of Arnold, Missouri, Darold Ford of Columbia, Illinois, and Janet Faure and husband, Duke Huffman of St. Louis, Missouri. Four grandchildren are left to mourn: Christen Wiegers (Steve), Eric Wiemers, Ashley Wattanaparuda (Tony) and Traci Ford and six great grandchildren: Ella, Ben, Gabriel, Luke, Nora, and James as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by all her siblings: James Light, Glayne Light, Howard Light, Fae Burrows, Martha Thieman, and Ann Rouse. Betty worked for the Sunshine Bakery Company in St. Louis.
