Betty Jo Lasley

Betty Jo Lasley of Affton Missouri entered into eternal rest on October 29, 2021. She was born in Shannon County, September 14, 1924 to the late Lee and Minerva (Sartin) Young.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Don H. Lasley.  One brother, Lee Young, Jr also preceded her in death.

Betty will be dearly missed by surviving family members; daughter Donna Selbert (Gary), grandchildren; Christy Pogorelac (Chad), Jonathon and Joseph Selbert, great grandchildren; Evie and Isla Pogorelac, Sister-In-Law, Judy Young and Nephew, Richard Young

Betty was a member of the Methodist Church in Affton, Missouri. She was an avid reader and enjoyed home projects, playing cards and cooking. When she was younger, Betty loved to dance and one of her first jobs was delivering messages on roller skates.  Betty mostly cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She loved to cook for them and spoil them as much as she could. Betty will be carried in the hearts and memories of her family always.

A small gathering with immediate family will be held at a later date.  Memorials can be made to the Bonne Terre Ministerial Alliance.
