Betty Lou Keith of Belleview, Missouri passed away March 25, 2022 at the age of 78 years. She was born February 27, 1944 in Banner, Missouri the daughter of the late Perry and Helen (Humphrey) Askew Sr. Betty Lou is survived by two children: Cheryl Keith of Belleview, Missouri, and Steve Keith of South Carolina; four sisters: Rose Clark (Norman) of Belleview, Missouri, Patsy Price (Joe) of Belleview, Missouri, Rebecca Wigger (Charlie) of Courtois, Missouri, and Ruby McPeeks (preceded by David) of Belleview, Missouri; her brother: Jack Askew (Connie) of Belleview, Missouri; and four grandchildren: Justin, Thomas, Lonnie, and Jacob. Five great grandchildren also survive as do numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Betty Lou was preceded in death by her brother: Perry Askew Jr. and her sisters: Lucy Blankenship and Alice Franklin. Betty Lou worked as a cook in the Viburnum School District for twenty-five years and then she worked in the deli at Town and Country Supermarket. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. She loved to cook and bake as evidenced by her professional career – she was famous for her coconut cream pies. Betty Lou was a clogger and spent seventeen years working at Silver Dollar City with a group of cloggers. She was a fifty-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star of St. Mary’s. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her sisters, especially their trips to the casino. Services will be private.
