Betty Marie Lockamy

Betty Marie Lockamy of Ironton, Missouri passed away October 6, 2017 in Ironton, Missouri at the age of 83 years. She was born December 10, 1933 in Hendrickson, Missouri the daughter of the late Victor Earl and Ada Bell (Kearbey) Rice Sr. Betty is survived by two children; Danny Lee Rice and wife, Lindley of Olympia, Washington and Sheryl Beiseman and husband Gary of Piedmont, Missouri, her sister, Berniece Deaton of DeSoto, Missouri, seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Betty was preceded in death by two children; Keith Alan Lockamy and Michael Ray Lockamy, one sister; Beatrice Rice, and five brothers; Harold Rice, Earl Rice, Carl Rice, Calvin Rice, and Theodore Rice. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeSoto and prior to that she was a long time member of Parkview Baptist Church also in DeSoto. She sang in the church choir. Betty also enjoyed quilting, sewing and crocheting, gardening and reading books....
