Betty Jean Mason

Betty Jean Mason of Ironton, Missouri passed away September 19, 2023 at The Baptist Home at the age of 94 years. She was born September 28, 1928 in Leachville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Estle Anderson and Elsie Mae (Trobaugh) Fish. On November 20, 1948 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Roy Edwin Mason. After seventy-three years of marriage he preceded her in death on June 29, 2022. They were residents of The Baptist Home. Betty and Roy were the parents of three children: Marilyn Thomas (Rank) of Minden, Louisiana, Ronnie Mason (Shelli) of Wright City, Missouri, and Larry Mason (Thanh) od Indianapolis, Indiana, who preceded them in death. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by all of her siblings: William Fish, Winford Fish, Leona Garner and Doris Inman.
